MISys Manufacturing – Easy Data Searches and Group Filtering
All Master Files and many other tables can be displayed as a list in MISys. The list can then be searched, filtered, or grouped to quickly find information.
Quick Search:
In the Look For window, enter the search criteria, then optionally in the In Column window, select the applicable column and click ‘Find Now’. The following search in the MISys sample company for Lot Tracked items in the Serial/Lot Track Type column found three records (image below)
Grouped Filters:
Column data can be quickly grouped by selecting a column heading and dragging it into the space above the column headings. When multiple column headings are dragged into the area, nested groups are created that can be expanded by clicking the ‘+’ symbol beside them.
In the following example from the MISys Sample Company, all Serial/Lot Track Types are grouped together, and the item type nested as a subgroup, which includes the three items from the previous search for Lot Tracked items.
