Processing Scrap During Manufacturing Order Production In MISys Manufacturing Software
Hi MISys users, looping back to our scrapping topic, this post will go through processing scrap during manufacturing order production.
On the Material Tab of the manufacturing order, users should select the line or item that is being scrapped during production.
Then at the top of the page, select “Scrap Mfg Order Material Detail”
A new page will appear:
From this page users are able to enter a quantity to scrap as well as select the source of scrap (Stock or WIP).
The same Scrap and Recover option exist.
Once processed, the scrap column on the Manufacturing Order detail page will update accordingly.
Transactions processed through this mechanism will flow through the designated scrap account that is assigned to the account set or default control accounts.
