Scrap Inventory in MISys Manufacturing
Hi MISys users, did you know there are two ways in MISys to remove broken/scraped inventory from your system.
This post will go through processing scrap using stock control.
From this page, users are able to enter the item number, location and quantity to scrap. MISys will advise the available stock.
Users can then select the scrap button and the quantity will be drawn down from stock.
The recover button will “pull” the quantity back into inventory – it is the reverse of scrap.
Transactions processed through this mechanism will flow through the designated scrap account that is assigned to the account set or default control accounts.
