Currencies in MISys Manufacturing Software
If you have enabled the Multi-currency features of MISys Manufacturing, the Currency Services function stores the foreign currencies you wish to associate with your Suppliers and the default exchange rate between those currencies and your home currency.
Navigating to the Currency Services -> Currency Codes via Accounting, a grid will display of various currencies.
Opening up one of the currency codes will allow for users to update the default rate between that currency and your company home currency
Depending on how many decimal places your company has designated for units/extended costs in Company Options, users can ensure that any costs that have an exchange rate applied can follow that same number of decimal places by updating it in the currency code record as well.
Remember - MISys does not sync for currency exchange rates – these need to be updated at regular intervals.
