MISys EXT and Stock Inquiries - Part 1
Hey Folks.
If you have users on the floor using MISys EXT with handheld devices, and no actual access to a desktop to do stock look ups – you may have noticed that MISys EXT doesn’t have a “stock inquiry feature”. To get around this, there are a couple of options. The first, is through use of a Dashboard Alert!
An example would be to set up a Dashboard Alert for a specific range of items, or location, or bin location. Then users will be able to log into MISys EXT and navigate to the alerts section.
Users can the view the results of this dashboard that acts as a “report” to display stock.
If chosen on setup, alerts can also allow for basic transactions to occur on that stock – such as Move Stock or Dispense stock transactions – this can be extra useful if staff are tasked with auditing stock or bin location accuracy.
Select the item and the following will display –
Selecting the Action options provide users with the available actions that can take place from this alert page.
Once selected, users can decide to proceed by selecting the blue arrow button
MISys EXT will reroute users to the page that corresponds to the action they have select where that user can complete the transactions.
