MISys Unposted Transactions
Hey Folks.
Running period end gives users, who have the security settings to do so, the ability to run an “unposted transactions” report. For those that would like to review these transactions without going through the period end process, the report is a standard MISys report within the report section:
There are four available sort-by options:
Detail by Account – to provide detailed transaction info by account.
Summary by Account – to provide the net effect of unposted transactions by account.
Detail by Date – to provide detailed transactional info sorted by date.
Summary by Date – to provide the net effect of unposted transactions by date.
It is recommended to review the Summary by Date option prior to running period ends, to confirm that no transactions are posted before or after open periods in the accounting software.
