MISys and Custom Fields!
Hey Everyone,
Have you ever come across a situation where you want information to show up on a report and MISys does not have a field for you to put that information into?
MISys Custom Fields allow users to put in any number of additional fields in a variety of data type - he possibilities are endless.
In the example below, we can attach drawing numbers to items now.
Common custom fields might include adding customer specific information on Manufacturing Orders or marking items as allergens.
There are several different custom field types:
Ultimately, custom field information can be used in a number of ways, including setting up database triggers/modifications as well as being used in custom reporting to provide you and your team with the data you are looking for.
