Introducing the Landed Cost Application for MISys Manufacturing Software

Central Nervous Systems has developed a Landed Cost Application specifically for MISys Manufacturing. The Landed Cost App is a web application that allows users to effectively add a predetermined estimated additional costs, such as freight, tariffs or duties, to the cost of inventory. The additional costs can be tied to the same vendor as the PO or alternate vendors that will be sending their own individual invoices. These landed costs can be applied to different expense accounts and their charges can be prorated to the line items on the PO using one of four available transportation units of measure. Combined with customized reporting, the Landed Cost App allows stakeholders to review the full costs of a PO as both the purchase and additional costs details will now be processed together and linked to a unique PO number.

An additional benefit of using the Landed Cost Application is that it allows your shipper/receiver to work in a simple interface outside of MISys.

The Landed Cost App gives users the ability to complete both the receiving and return functions in MISys. Because the app has been developed as a web application, multiple shippers/receivers are able to process incoming PO’s (or outgoing returns) at a single terminal with the requirement of only ONE MISys user license.
