Two Good Reasons to Upgrade to MISys 6.4.4

If you haven’t upgraded to MISys 6.4.4 yet, here are a few new features that might convince you to get that upgrade done sooner than later. 

MISys 6.4.4 now has a check box that will stop those “upgrade” prompts from appearing every time you log in. It also has an automatic time out function that can be set on a per user basis to kick out inactive users. 

Follow these steps in MISys 6.4.4

1. A user with ADMIN privileges navigates to ADMINISTRATION > Users and selects a user.

2. The option for “Check for Program Updates” is selected, which means the user JKO will receive an update message at every login. This user will also not be timed out of MISys as the User Timeout option is set to zero (infinity). 

3. To turn off “Check for Program Updates” – Uncheck the box. 

4. To Set a Timeout period – Enter a quantity in minutes 

5. Click Save after any adjustment for the changes to take effect. 

Example below – program updates are turned off, and user is timed out of MISys after 15 minutes of inactivity
